Again, I am late on my posting as Bella is now 7 months old. Oh well. We couldn't believe when she turned 6 months. A whole half a year old! It's crazy how fast she is growing up. The month between her 5th and 6th month birthday was a big one for Bella:
She started eating solid foods.
She was able to walk around really well While holding on to our hands.
She was getting more comfortable standing up with less suport.
She was Chewing/sucking on anything and everything.
>
She went camping in Pismo for a week with the Duran/Boggs family.
First time camping!
Second time to the beach.
First time playing in (eating) the sand.
Spent lots of time with Daddy...her favorite!
She then turned around and went camping the next week with the Berry family at Doheny Beach. Her first family vacations!
She met alot of new cousins, and a couple aunts and uncles that she hadn't met before and LOVED playing with them!
She also went into the ocean for the first time (didn't get a picture. dang it!)
She got a little color on her cheeks from spending 2 weeks in the sun(which Thomas was happy about. 1/4 mexican?)
She was crawling around when we left, but wasn't going too far. A few days after we got home I set her in her crib to clean up her diaper changing area and turned around to find......A standing girl! 5 1/2 months old and standing up ON HER OWN already? She stood there for about 10 minutes and then finally fell over.
Later that day she started standing up on the coffee table,
fireplace,
and window sill.
And my life has never been the same since! She is into everything. We had to put everything UP, out of Bella's reach! My favorite is the window sills. They are the perfect hight for her to look out of. She will stay there forever. So funny!
A few days later she started sitting up on her own. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Crazy girl!
Here are some more pictures of her cuteness!

Doheny Beach 2009
After our week of camping at Pismo, we came home, did laundry, repacked (with lighter clothing this time) and headed down to Doheny Beach for another week of camping, with my family this time. Doheny Beach is in Dana Point, California which is in Orange County. We spent another week of camping ON the beach. Well, one of our sites was on the beach. And actually they had built a temporary little mini dune as barrier between the water and the camp grounds the week before...but normally we would be RIGHT ON THE BEACH. It was awesome. We had planned to have all 4 sites right there in a row, but when Cindi (my sister) and I got online 6 months before to reserve the sites, those ones were gone in a matter of seconds! Bummer. So, we were a little more spread out but we had a great time. We shared a site with Mike (brother) and Amy and their kids. The only down side was that it would get pretty hot during the day so getting out of the tent in time (with the baby) was a bit of a challenge. However, that just made for some WARM ocean water. Oh it was so nice! It was so much fun to play in the water everyday. We missed my mom and dad (on a mission in England), Jake (on a mission in Tiawan), the Smyths (in Ireland for the summer), and Richelle (Stayed home for mandatory music practices).

Pismo 2009
We had so much fun at Pismo this year. We camped for a week in July with Thomas' family and extended family. It was my first time being able to stay the whole week and Im so glad I did! It was so NICE there and so HOT in Fresno, that several family members who had planned on just being there for the weekend stayed the whole time!...Including Thomas, which I was really happy about. We did all the typical Pismo activities- Ate at Splash Cafe, went to Avila beach, went to the Fruit Stand, went to Pismo Beach, fished off the pier, looked at the fun candy at Hot Lix, went to the tide pools at Montana de Oro, relaxed by the fire, even went into San Louis Obispo to a wicked pizza place, and on and on.
