Visits

We got to drive up to Idaho for a long weekend to visit the Lundins.  We loved being there and they all loved meeting Clare and playing with Bella.

Lexi and Mary- I think they were singing "Phantom of the Opera" here. :)
Clare and Julie

Allie and Bella

Julie took us to Yellow Stone one day.  It was so fun but very very cold.  The girls and I were not prepared for such cold weather!  Check out the awesome buffalo that were just walking down the street!  They were everywhere!

Lexi (my niece) was working there in Yellow Stone for the summer, home from BYU Hawaii.  We got to see the fun restaurant she was working at.  At this time they were working on opening it up for the season- painting and refinishing projects.

We also went to see Old Faithful.  This geyser has been going off every 90 minutes give or take 10 for hundreds of years.  Crazy!  Nature is amazing.
Waiting...
Eruption. It lasts for about 15 minutes...

On our way back to my Mom and Dad's house we got to stop off at the Berrys for a visit in Stansbury Park.

Clare and Ana

Bella and Emma.  These cousins are just 6 months apart!

Bella and Emma had so much fun together!

Ana loved holding Clare and practicing for her new baby that would be coming a few months later.

Utah Trip- May

The girls and I went on a trip to visit my parents in Utah in May.  I had no idea what to expect traveling because this was both of their first times on an airplane and I was going to be by myself!  We started the trip out by driving down to LA to my sister Cindi's house.  That was a four hour car ride with them by myself and it was not bad.  Not to say we didn't have our problems, but I had done that before with both kids and it isn't too bad.  We flew out of LAX.  I had talked to the airlines to figure out exactly what I could bring.  I was excited because I could bring 2 carry-ons for Bella, Myself and even a diaper bag for Clare and my double stroller.  What I didn't think about was getting all those bags to the plane with the girls after I left off my stroller at the gate!  I walked through the plane holding 3 bags on each arm while carrying Clare in one arm and holding bellas hand with the other.  We were quite the site.  Overall it wasn't bad and not a long flight.  It would be a lot easier to do now that Clares a little older and can sit on her own so I could help Bella with stuff a little easier (like putting those shoes back on!...See video #3). Here are some videos from our flight.
