Pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins

We took Bella to an awesome pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin and get some cute Fall shots.

We carved one of our pumpkins which Bella absolutely loved!  There's nothing like an easy-to-clean-up mess.  She was fascinated by the squishy guts.  I have a super cute video of her doing this too, but can't figure out how to post it with this new blogger format.  Any suggestions?

At 8 months (I'm always a month behind!), Bella....

Loves to eat paper...do anyone elses children do this????

Went to her first Clovis Fest.

Wont sit still to get her diaper changed.  Grrrrrr.

Likes to crawl in tight spaces.  This is between the couch and the end table.

Has WAY too much fun with her daddy!

Checks HER window throughout the day to make sure all is well in her kingdom.

Started standing up out of her chair WITHOUT HOLDING ON TO ANYTHING!

Is a great night-time and nap-time sleeper.  She does have her moments, but a lot of times I put her down and she just sticks that thumb in her mouth, rolls over, and falls asleep.  Wish I could do that!

Is getting a long pony tail!  Can you see it?

Crawls under the kitchen table and chairs.  Its that tight space thing again.  Those are tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.  She's stuck under the chair!  Silly girl.

But once she figures out how to do something she happily does it over and over again.

And yet again with the whole tight space thing.  She's a little dare-devil!

Finally got some teeth!  Her two bottom ones, to be exact.

Quick trip to Utah

Bella and I hitched a ride to Utah with my sister and her family at the beginning of October.  Road trips with the Watkins always makes for an interesting time.  Unfortunantly I didn't take any pictures or video on the road this time but check out our last one here.  Good times.  It was a fun trip!  Quick, but fun.  Bella even met some new cousins: Sarah Ann (brand new baby cousin), and Nathan, Mathew, Alyssa (Heather met her when she was just a couple weeks old) and Uncle Stephan since the Smyths were in Ireland for our summer family reunion!  Now she just needs to meet Cousin Jake and Grammie and Grandpa Berry who are all on missions for our church.  Here are some pictures from our couple days in Utah.

She even met the newest member of the Berry family.  Cousin Sarah Ann Mills.  So cute and tiny!

They are going to have so much fun together in a couple years!

7 Months Old

Bella had her 6 month doctors appointment 2 days after her 7 month birthday. Some kind of scheduling mix-up. So, it was really her 7 month appointment. Here is Bella on her way, but not too excited:

She actually had a lot of fun at the doctors office (except the whole getting shots part) and LOVED that noisy paper she sat on. The doctor said she is a very healthy girl! Here are her 7 month stats:

Weight: 15 pounds, 2 ounces (15th percentile)

Length: 27.5 inches (75th percentile)

Head circumfrance: 44 cm (75th percentile)




Here is what Bella is doing at 7 months:



She is getting into EVERYTHING!

And standing up all the time on anything, like...coffee table... ...Entertainment Center... ...the big Window... ...the little window... ...Couch... ...stroller (THE FLOWER FELL OUT OF MY HAIR!!!!)... even while picking up her little (or big) flower. Now thats some mad skills. Wheew! She Got it! She keeps making us think shes going to break teeth, but alas there are none! She met her new cute cousin, Mason! They are going to be great friends. She loves looking out the window... ...and making faces. She can walk around while holding on to our hands. She goes REALLY fast! She can stand by herself for a few seconds at a time. She crawls all over the place. She plays with anything she can get her hands on! This is my old cabbage patch doll. She has been eating solids for a couple months. She is a silly girl and loves to laugh!



We think she has the most BEAUTIFUL blue eyes.
She went to Wild Water and played in the little baby pool.
She has crazy hair! Its super long on top, so it looks funny if its down.
But its not quite long enough (well, maybe just not quite enough OF IT) to put into pig tails! I tried on her 7 month birthday, September 11th, but it only stayed in about 10 minutes. It was cute while it lasted. We love our sweet girl!
