Clares Birthday part 2: The Zoo!

The day after Clares actual birthday we spent the day celebrating with Daddy and went to the zoo!

Clares 1st Birthday

On Clares big day...

We went to Skywalk with friends and then out to lunch at Chick-Fil-a.

 

 

After naps we had a special birthday dinner with Daddy

Dinner fit for a 1 year old birthday princess

Then the birthday girl opened presents,

 ate cake,

You sure its okay if I eat this?  Im not going to get in trouble?

Best food ever! Who needs baby food? 

 

and went to bed.  Only to have the fun continue for two more days!...

January 5K

As bad as I look in this picture, I had to document my 2nd 5K.  In spite of a slight mishap at the begining of the race (that Id rather not remember...), I ran with several of the Duran boys and was proud of myself for keeping up with them for a little over half the race.  The second half they all kicked my trash.  Im hoping I get some of the girls to go for the next one!

My tired, hungry, and cold girls came to cheer me on. :D
